How To Make Your Glass Stovetop Clean Again

When compared to gas stoves, electric ones are much more convenient and affordable. Maybe this is why they are so popular. Electric stoves are a nightmare to clean, but I'm sure that's obvious. When even a little quantity of water boils over, a burned-on stain will stay forever. Luckily, this simple method can make your glass cooktop seem like new!

As Jillee of One Good Thing asserts All you need to repair a stained glass cooktop, says Jillee, is a cloth, some baking soda, distilled vinegar, and liquid dish detergent. First things first, spray the cooktop thoroughly with vinegar using a spray bottle.

Apply a generous coating of baking soda on the surface.

Soak the towel in a pail or a basin of hot water mixed with dish soap. Since you want the water to be quite hot, it's wise to wear protective gloves.

After a little wringing (not completely), lay the towel down flat on the whole stovetop. For a minimum of fifteen to twenty minutes, allow the towel to rest.

Remove the towel and use a soft brush to remove any remaining stains once the specified amount of time has elapsed. Depending on the severity of the damage to your stove, you may have to repeat the process.

Lastly, use a microfiber cloth to wipe off the stovetop after spraying it with vinegar. A stove that seems brand new is now yours to enjoy!
